Satpara Lake Skardu is a natural lake located about 9 5.60 miles north of Skardu the capital of Baltistan, in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. Located at an altitude of 2,635 meters and 8645 feet, the lake is about 20 minutes by jeep drive from Skardu.

Satpara Lake Skardu is located at an altitude of 2,636 meters by 8,650 feet above sea level and is spread over an area of 2.5 km². Satpara Lake is also called “Sadpara Lake”.
Satpara Lake is a natural lake near Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, which supplies water to the Skardu Valley. It is supplied with Satpara Stream. Since 2003, Satpara Dam has been built at the bottom of the river and, once completed, will increase the size of Lake Satpara.

The Satpara Lake Skardu Dam Project has a 90,000-hectare water cover. The Satpara Dam project is a multi-purpose project aimed at producing 13 Megawatts of water production and drinking water in the town of Skardu.
It also aims to irrigate 15,000 hectares of land. The construction of the Satpara Dam below the Satpara Lake is shallow and the size of the lake increased.
The Satpara Dam is a multifaceted system designed to produce 13 megawatts of hydroelectric power, support irrigation across 15,000 hectares (61 km2) of land, and supply a daily drinking water capacity of 13 cusecs to the town of Skardu. This medium-sized, multi-tiered concrete dam is currently under construction and is situated along the Satpara Lake River, approximately 4 kilometers from Skardu in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan.
When completed, the dam will increase the size of Satpara Lake Skardu, generate 17.36 MW of hydroelectric power and supply approximately 30,000 households in Skardu Valley, irrigate 15,536 hectares (62.87 km), and provide 3.1 million liters per day of drinking water. Annual agricultural production in Skardu Valley is expected to increase fourfold, generating about $ 6 million in other annual economic benefits from local communities.
